5 Reasons Why There Will Never Be Peace in the Middle East

For the past five decades since the advent of the new Israel, the Middle East has been a hot stop. There have been a number of wars, insurgents, political problems over the years and this has continued to today and will likely go on for the distant future. Here are the five key reasons why there will never be peace in the Middle East.

Israel and Palestine have always been at loggerheads. When Yasser Arafat was the leader of the Palestine Liberation Organisation, several peace talks were initiated between the countries. All of them failed due to misunderstanding between the two nations. Israel was over aggressive in their approach and even house arrested the Palestine leader once. After the death of Arafat, the war is still going on between the Israeli army and Palestine militants. Neither side is willing to give any concessions to the other.

Iraq has been the centre of attraction for all the wrong reasons for the past decade or two. Until Saddam Hussein was the dictator, everything was under control and nothing controversial or big broke out. When the United States ventured into Iraq, claiming that it houses weapons of mass destruction, the world knew what the real purpose was, the emergency fuel reserves! They captured and hanged Hussein, camped in Iraq (actually some troops are still put up there) and made a total mess of everything.

Afghanistan has been the epicentre of all terrorism. Said to be the home of the dreaded terrorist, Osama-bin-Laden, this country has seen little development due to bad governance, Soviet intervention, and militants who have no idea of how to run a country. This country is said to be the breeding ground for militants who gives the least of chances for stopping the ongoing war.

Foreign invaders have gone in on the region many times in history and this has continued even to today.

Some of the nations in the region have an alliance with countries in the west, such as Saudi Arabia and this has irked many other nations in the area.
